Invite a sacred encounter into your life...

If you’ve read the book or have just been touched by Rodger Kamenetz’s spiritual explorations and insights, we would love to have you join us on this unique, contemplative retreat.

Together we will practice turning our attention away from the afflictive emotions that consume our day to day and towards that which cultivates a sense of gratitude, connection, and meaning in our lives. We will draw upon the gifts of poetry, the unique sandhill ecosystem that will surround us, and our dreams to spark our imagination and deepen our sense of connection to all things.

To prepare for the retreat, we recommend you read Seeing Into the Life of Things, which you can order by clicking here.

About Us

Rodger Kamenetz is the author of sixteen books of poetry and prose including the international bestseller The Jew in the Lotus and The History of Last Night’s Dream. He taught poetry writing and religious studies at LSU where he is professor emeritus. He founded Natural Dreamwork an international group of practitioners who bring dreams to life for spiritual growth. His latest book Seeing into the Life of Things answers a pressing question from the Dalai Lama: how do we purify afflictive emotions like anxiety and reactive anger which are epidemic in our lives today? The answer comes through seeing into the life of things, drawing  close to nature and contemplating images in perception, memory and dreams.
