WE DREAM OF LOVE: A CREATIVE DREAMWORK RETREAT

SATURDAY DECEMBER 28th – MONDAY DECEMBER 30th

ALL YOU NEED INSTITUTE in LUMBERTON MS

When you enter your interior realms, what do you find there? A flight of fancy, a touch of wonder? Or does the space leave you with a shudder, echoing ancestral wounds? Is it a space you want to dwell in, or does even just a moment’s dip leave you in a spin, aching for an escape?

As the material well-being of the web of life continues to wane on our shared earth, it can be tempting to abandon our inner sanctum. Perhaps we feel this is the moral choice, thinking it better to stay focused on all that we must do to mitigate the harm to life that surrounds us. More often we just scroll dumbfounded; unable to act due the staggering weight of our sense of importance and responsibility.

And yet, our dreams keep calling. We know that it is the forces that would rather us stay outwardly focused, dispersed in our energies, constantly predicting and reacting to unknowable futures while ignoring the depths of our hearts and cries of our spirits; that keep the world of our dreams from being birthed in the material realm.

Our intent for this weekend is to be with our dreams, our creativity, and our imaginations knowing they have the power to bring us into the presence of unconditional love.

One of the ways that we can access our dreams is by dreaming while we are awake, through creative process. We will be making art with our dreams as collaborators, letting our analytic minds rest while we invite the wisdom of our intuition. The creative work is accessible to all—no prior experience needed. Just as we are all natural dreamers, we are also all born with the creative impulse, one that has the power to remind us that we are always connected to the creative force of the universe, the very same force that brings us our dreams.

So let’s gather together in gratitude to the earth, share our dreams, and tune into our inner wisdom and creativity, all with the intention to clear our paths of anything that keeps us from love.

All kinds of love, whatever you long for, is welcome; relational, platonic, sexual, love of nature, of art, of crafts, caregiving, parenting, building, curating, sharing, uplifting. We want more of all of it and much more we can’t imagine. We need the love you ache for. And we deeply trust that our dreams can and want to lead us to love, the kind of love that has the power to transform all things. The only way we can get there is together. Will you join us?

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS

Kezia Vida has been engaged in an active dream practice, working and tending to her own dreams and the dreams of others since 2009. Kim is a queer anti-Zionist Jewish artist, parent, painter, doodler, parade-lover, partner, dreamer, honorer of ancestors and devotee of the Great Mystery at the center of everything. They are a trained facilitator of the Jewish Studio Process (through the Jewish Studio Project), a ritually-held methodology through which we can enter into deep personal and collective spiritual inquiry and strengthen our connection to the world and ourselves.
